Here are some fun activites you can do alone or with a friend to help you practice what we are learning
in class:
Activity 1: Find a story to read that you and a friend have
never read before, each of you read the story to yourself. Once you both are done tell eachother what you thought the story
was about, or the "main idea". See how your idead were different or the same, you can do this with as many people as you want.
Do no forget to ask your family if they want to try too!
Activity 2: Go to the library and and look for a book on mammals
(or any other subject you really like), then find out how much specific information you can find about them using the the
table of contents, glossary and index. If you need any help you can always ask for help at the front desk.
